/* Google Analytics */ /* Google Analytics end */ CRUNCHY: Removing the 'showing posts with label' based on No. 897 blogger template

Removing the 'showing posts with label' based on No. 897 blogger template

Everytime you click on a label, the page will display all things related to it and an ugly box that says 'showing posts with label xxxx' just like the box below:-

How do we get rid of that box? It's easy, from your blogger dashboard goto Layout>Template>Edit HTML .

Find the code and delete it:-

<b:include data='top' name='status-message'/>

Don't forget to save your code. Have fun customizing your blog!

  3. I really want to remove the "show all posts" from labels from my blog, but I can't find the code. I even copied my template into Apple Pages and searched for message in the code and I couldn't find it. I'm positive it's not in there. Is there any other way I can remove them? Thank you so much!!! :)

  4. Hi anon, I assume you're using an unmodified version of Douglas Bowman's template. Alright just goto Layout>Edit HTML . And on the code page, make sure you tick 'Expand Widget Templates'. You should be able to find it now.

  5. Thanks for this Crunchy. I tried with my blogs and at first instance it looked as if worked but. Unfortunately now have a problem with my extendable entries--nothing happens when I click "read more". Any ideas would be much appreciated...

  6. I am now in real trouble. I tried to revert to the template as it was before (putting up with the label), but now I have the labels and my "read more" does not work anymore... I must have damaged something in the process but I have no idea what this was.

  7. hi beatriz, if I remember correctly Douglas Bowman's original template don't have a 'read more' link.

    If simply adding back the code above to your existing template doesn't work, then you must have changed something else.

    You may try this link

    and troubleshoot from there.

  8. This code certainly worked on my 'photoplus' template. It was really frustrating as it would have otherwise made a completely professional template. Now that pro-compromising problem is gone.

    Thanks a lot mate :)
