The load time for Adobe Reader 8 can be annoyingly long. Here's how you can speed it up.
Browse to the folder, for example “ D:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\plug_ins “ or whichever drive/partition you installed Adobe Reader. Now look for the file ' Accessibility.api ' or ' Accessibility' ( if you've set the folder to hide extensions ). Delete the 'Accessibility' file.
There! Now you should be able to load your Adobe Reader a lot faster. If it's still too slow for your taste, you might want to checkout Foxit(http://www.foxitsoftware.com/) , which is an alternative PDF reader.
