How to make a screenshot of your video or movie?

Ever tried making a screenshot of your video or a movie and got nothing but a black blank screen? Don't worry you can get your lovely screenshots just the way you want it.

Making a screenshot on Windows Media Player 9 or 10

If you're on Windows Media Player 9 or 10, while the video is playing, press Ctrl-i to capture a screenshot. A window will popup and let's you save the screenshot.

Screenshot on Winamp

If you have Winamp, goto Options>Preferences . At the 'Winamp Preferences' window, goto Video>Advanced Video Options . Untick 'Allow hardware video overlay (recommended – best performance)' . Then use any third party screen capture software like IrfanView or AcdSee. Alternatively, you can use the 'Print Screen' button on the keyboard. Then open up any image editing program like Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, Paint Shop or whatever photo editing program you have. And paste the screenshot.
